Owner; Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, Amanda Russell has dedicated her life to supporting the well-being of her community. Her journey began shortly after high school, working in social services to connect underserved individuals with vital resources. Through roles as a case manager and volunteer with organizations like Convoy of Hope and Circles, Amanda built a reputation for compassionate advocacy and hands-on support.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho and completed her Master of Social Work at Edinboro University in 2018. She spent two years at North Idaho Children’s Mental Health, providing individual play therapy and leading teen therapy groups. In 2019, Amanda opened her own private practice, where she continued to serve the community through initiatives like Transitions In Progress, offering group therapy for women in shelter settings through a local grant.
While Amanda has always loved working with children, she found her deepest calling in helping women heal from PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Her practice is built on the belief that every woman deserves to live without barriers — to rediscover confidence, clarity, and the strength they were created to embody. She offers a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space where clients can begin their journey toward meaningful change.
Amanda’s approach is holistic, addressing emotional, spiritual, environmental, and physical factors that may be impacting mental health. She integrates evidence-based practices with intuitive care, helping women reconnect with their inner resilience and move toward lasting wellness.
Outside of her practice, Amanda finds joy in the outdoors with her children, grandchildren, and beloved pets. She’s also an avid crafter and creator, bringing the same spirit of artistry and warmth to her personal life that she offers in her therapeutic work.
